72% on Blazers (+375) vs 28% Warriors (-550)
The Western Conference Finals tip off tonight as the Blazers head to Oracle to take on the Warriors. The Blazers, unsurprisingly, are getting a majority of the bets their way as they take on a team the public wants to see lose. Not to mention, Kevin Durant will be out for game 1 and possibly game 2. Damian Lillard didn’t play his best basketball in the series against the Nuggets winning 4-3 and Blazers needed one big bench performance from Rodney Hood in game 6 and a remarkable performance in game 7 by C.J McCollum to advance. I expect Dame to have a better series no doubt, but even without Durant in the first to games, I don’t see the Blazers winning this series.
I wouldn’t advise to bet either of these lines because -550 seems a tad high for the Warriors to win the series, but I just don’t see how the Blazers win this series. I have the Warriors winning in 5 as I do believe the Blazers will win one of their home games. I guess the play here is to put a unit on the Blazers and hope for the best. If this line was under -490 for the Warriors, I would lay some on the Warriors.
Ultimately, I like a series bet a lot more in the Western Conference Finals, which I will be sharing with you all tomorrow. Take a look at my top plays for tonight as I have a few prop bets I like for game 1.
